Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Aspen returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with the ground and pound strategy and earned an TKO second-round victory. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she had in any major way. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds and ended her streak to win. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
