Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her role as public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. She's appeared on various other television shows in addition to acting. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her twin siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school that she chose to attend. She was a cheerleader. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was married prior to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband, as well as co-writer since 1982. Together, they are parents to two children. Post's work as wife and mother as well as actress has been admired by many Hollywood stars.
